As a reputable drilling and blasting contractor in the western United States for over 30 years, we are committed to safety in the workplace. Whether in the office, shop, in a vehicle, or on a job site, safety is the most important aspect of our jobs every day.

Leading our safety division is Safety Manager Steve Kidwell. Steve is an experienced surface and underground miner who spent many years working as an underground coal miner. He is a former MSHA (Mining, Safety, and Health Administration) inspector and accident investigator and a former member of the Underground Mine Rescue Team. In addition, Steve is a Red Cross-certified and National Safety Council first aid and CPR instructor, certified MSHA trainer, and holds various state mine examiner certifications.
